The manuscript “Digitalization in Maritime Community” is organized into two parts. In the first one, there are the descriptions, rather from the management aspect, of some up-to-date maritime info-communication systems, like: (S-)AIS, ECDIS, e-Navigation, Maritime Cloud, AMOS and (N)MSW. The second part contains a collection of the research studies in different domains of digitalization in maritime business and industry. These studies concern: the sea ports’ (re)positioning, including their ICT dimensions; enhancing the safety of the sea port workers by using wireless body sensor networks, along with the appropriate backend info-communication systems; and, some possibilities of moving maritime education and training into the sphere of Cloud computing. The manuscript should serve as an inspiration for further research work(s) in the field.
